1. Who we are
vortaxis.com is run by Vortaxis Studio, a web design and development studio based in London, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hello@vortaxis.com.
2. What we collect and why

We never see or store your full card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.
3. Who we share data with
Only with service providers who help us run the store, and only what they need:
- Stripe — payment processing and receipts (Stripe privacy policy).
- Google — only if you choose “Sign in with Google” (Google privacy policy).
- Our hosting and email providers — to run the website and send order and licence emails.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. When that happens, it is protected by an adequacy decision or the UK’s approved contract clauses.
4. Cookies
vortaxis.com uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work. Under UK and EU law these do not need consent, so we do not show a cookie banner.

When you click “Buy”, you go to Stripe’s checkout page, which sets its own cookies for payment security and fraud prevention under Stripe’s policy. We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies on vortaxis.com. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
5. How long we keep data
- Order, invoice and licence records: 6 years, as UK tax and accounting rules require, and for as long as the licence is active.
- Account data: until you ask us to delete your account (order records are kept as above).
- Support messages: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
- Technical logs: normally up to 90 days.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it (data portability). Email hello@vortaxis.com; we answer within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority in your country.
7. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords, keep downloads behind signed time-limited links and limit who can access order data.
8. Children
The store is meant for businesses and developers. It is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. Important changes will also be shown on the site.
