THE PRODUCT
A closer look.
Huddle is a complete one-page video-call app you can put on your own domain. People open a link, type their name and are face to face: camera and microphone toggles, screen sharing, room chat, a people panel, a device picker and tiles that light up when someone speaks. Audio and video flow directly between browsers with WebRTC, encrypted end to end.
Inside the ZIP: the static app (one HTML page, one script, one stylesheet, no dependencies), server/signal.php — a single-file signalling server with long polling, rate limits, room size limit, optional access code and expiring TURN credentials — plus a coturn setup guide, nginx and Apache protection rules and offline documentation. A built-in demo mode (solo with simulated guests, or a real peer-to-peer call between two browser tabs) lets you show it on any static host.
Rebranding takes minutes: name, colours and server address live in one config.js, every colour is a CSS variable and the logo is a single SVG. No database, no Node.js, no build step — upload two folders to any PHP host with HTTPS and send the link.
A few useful answers.
Do I need a database or Node.js?
No. The signalling server is one PHP file that uses small temporary files. Any PHP 7.4+ host with HTTPS works.
How many people can join a call?
Up to 6 by default (configurable). Huddle connects everyone to everyone (mesh), which works best for small team calls.
Will calls connect on every network?
Most calls connect directly. For strict firewalls add a TURN relay — a step-by-step coturn guide and config are included.
Does the live demo use a server?
No. The demo runs in demo mode: a solo call with simulated guests, or a real peer-to-peer call between two tabs of your browser.
Can I rebrand it?
Yes. Name, colours and server address are in config.js, all styles are CSS variables and the logo is one SVG file.
What is the difference between Licence and Full source?
Licence: one end product, for yourself or one client. Full source: unlimited end products for you and your clients, including white-label and SaaS use. Neither allows reselling the source code itself.
