THE PRODUCT
A closer look.
Beacon Chat adds a friendly chat assistant to any website with one script tag. Visitors get a floating launcher, a smooth chat panel with typing animation and quick-reply chips, and instant answers from a knowledge list you write in plain text — with phrase, keyword and typo-tolerant matching, links, images and related-topic suggestions. When it cannot help, it collects the visitor's name and e-mail or shows your phone, e-mail and messenger contacts, depending on your business hours.
Inside the ZIP: the dependency-free widget (about 20 KB gzipped, Shadow DOM isolated so it never clashes with your theme), three live examples (a coffee-shop website, a dark right-to-left Persian bookstore and a playground that generates your embed code), and an optional single-file PHP endpoint that answers unknown questions through the AI provider of your choice with your own API key, saves leads to CSV, e-mails you and can forward them to a webhook — with rate limits and security protections built in.
Customising takes minutes: brand name, avatar, colours or gradient, light/dark/auto theme, position, size, greeting, chips, hours and contact options are all plain configuration. English and Persian texts are built in, every text can be replaced for any language, and right-to-left layout is automatic. A JavaScript API and events connect it to your analytics or CRM, and the offline documentation covers every option.
A few useful answers.
Do I need a server or an API key?
No. Knowledge answers, chips, hours, contact cards and the lead form (via e-mail link or your own JavaScript) work on any static site. The included PHP endpoint is only needed for AI answers and for saving or e-mailing leads.
Which AI providers can I use?
Any provider with a chat-completions style HTTP API, including self-hosted model servers. You use your own account and key, which stays on your server in config.php — it is never sent to the browser.
Will it work with WordPress, Shopify or Webflow?
Yes. Upload the script (or paste it into the custom-code or footer area) and add the short init snippet. Styles are isolated, so your theme cannot break it.
Can I translate it?
Yes. English and Persian are built in, every text can be overridden for any language, and right-to-left layout switches on automatically for RTL languages.
What is the difference between Licence and Full source?
Licence covers one end product — your own website or one client's. Full source covers unlimited end products for you and your clients, including white-label and SaaS use. Neither allows reselling the source code itself.
Does it show your branding?
No. The widget shows only your brand. A small footer line is available if you want one.
